Back in the day,Kumarakom was commonly known as the “Live Music Place” amidst the locals . In fact Sojan’s favourite pass time was to be conducting these music sessions at his restaurant . Right from personally handpicking every ingredient – food tasting – Customer interaction, he was an absolute people stunner. Most people looked at the restaurant as a weekend family destination serving authentic kerala food with a touch of homeliness . Presently run by the children, They say “We make sure the care & quality is always the same as our Chachen is always watching us”
Today, Kumarakom stands as a restaurant chain comprising of 8 outlets spreading across 2 major cities – Chennai & Bangalore. The state of the art central kitchen is completely autonomous in washing , sanitisation & cooking of vegetable and other raw materials .The high-tech German machinery ensures mass & hygienic production of great quality food on a day to day basis.
